This summer, San Sebastian will have a few more Michelin Stars spangling the city as the Maria Cristina hotel brings a pop up restaurant by Hélène Darroze for the summer season 2016.
Helene Darroze gastronomic offer is based on local products and flavours but seek to offer a different angle to the existing proposals of one of the most important gastro cities of the world, European Culture Capital this year.
With one Michelin star at her restaurant in Paris and two in London, Hélène Darroze has created a cuisine where ingredients always take precedence in her kitchen. Their quality, source, freshness and the producer behind them are also essential selection criteria. She seeks to enhance them but at all times applying the greatest respect for the product, the season and expertise.
